The history

Le Renaie hotel is located 5 km from San Gimignano on top of Borgo di Pancole, once headquarters of the Carolingi Count, and today famous for the XVII century Sanctuary twith the precious “Madonna di Pancole” painted in the V century by  Pier Francesco Fiorentino.

The hotel was born in th 70's with a few rooms as support for the Leonetto reaturant, thanks to  Leonetto Sabatini that understood the pontential of a new way of holidays: the turism in country .

Le Renaie is with no doubt one of the first design hotel, finely furnished almost 40 years ago by a famous interior design, Francesco Ridolfi, who introduced a new concept of Toscan farmhouse, sweet and refined, almost romantic.

The Sabatini family manage the hotel since it was builded, renovating an improving it continuously,  but keeping the original atmosphere.
